Donations

Hi, Everyone!
Our PayPal account is set up, yay!  Any donations you make will go directly to my mom and dad, to help them out during this financially stressful time.  You don't need a PayPal account yourself in order to donate.  After you click on the link below, just click in the lower-left where you see the credit card logos and you can donate without having a PayPal account.  If you already have a PayPal account, then you can login.  The link below is also located in the "Resources" section.
Again, these donations go directly to me and my family (as opposed to the "Tribute" link, which goes to the Caringbridge website and not to us at all).  Thank you so much for all of your help. :)

Ten Days

Good Morning Everyone,
Mamas wants you all to know that this morning I'm receiving my last chemo treatment for this ten day duration.  Normally they are at night so this is going to change my day.  I usually throw up at least once after the chemo so if you are coming to visit today please be prepared for that.
Daddy & Grammy have not been feeling well so please pray for them.  I'm glad that they come to stay with me but they need their rest too.
Mommy has songs that are on her heart.  She has asked that I share them with you and you listen to them.  The links below will take you away from my page but you can click the back button and come straight back here.
Thank you for loving me and my family.
Love,
Noah

Christmas in July

Hi Everyone,

Christmas is when you see lots of friends and receive all the cool presents that good little boys do so that's all I can think of.  Christmas came early!

My family is so surprised at all the visitors we've had.  I had four on Tuesday, three yesterday and today....well today I had SIX!  It was so nice to see everyone!

And the presents!  Today I was given Red (he's the firetruck from Cars), puzzles, crayons and coloring books!  Told ya Christmas came early!  I wonder if Santa can see how good I'm being with the chemo and eating???

Today was good but tonight, well I threw up again.  I really don't like chemo and I really don't like it at night.  It makes me cry.  I have a really great Mommy though.  She holds the towel for me to get sick in.  I'm really glad I have her for a mommy.

Mommy was so surprised when she found out today how far the meal calendar is booked out to.  Mommy and Daddy are so grateful for this.  Mommy said that even if I'm released from the hospital early (August 15th) the meals will still be a big help with everyone coming over to help once we are home.

We're still working on the PayPal account.  We should have it up by this weekend.

Thanks again for everyone that is stopping by to say hello, and loving my family!

Love,

Noah

Update, prayer & help

Hi Everyone,

So, the good stuff.....I've spent a lot of time with Daddy and I've had fun with the guests who come to visit me.  Yesterday I got to spend all day with my Mamas too!  AND....I ate....and ate!  Thank you to everyone who is signing to bring food.  I hope the links posted on how to help me eat have been helping you.

The doctors are running tests on me now because I might have an infection due to the chemo killing everything.  Right now I feel fine and don't have a fever but I have a lot of yucky diarrhea which isn't good.  So I'm going to need prayer for that.

You can call/text too if you want.  Mommy wants you all to know that she is so thankful for everything that you all have done (Dah Dah's too).  She also wants you all to know the ways you can help & keep up to date on how I'm doing since she can't always answer her phone or respond to text.  Mamas and Daddy are really tired and just trying to get done everything they have to get done each day.  The best way to be updated is right here on this page.  You can also email at my email which is NoahMrMans@gmail.com.

As you know, my blood type is O- (negative).  Right now the hospital is doing fine on my blood type but they encourage people to donate so that they can avoid a shortage & you can help someone else who might be in need.  You can even say "I did it for Noah"!

Okay, are you ready for some more good stuff???

You sure?

Positive?

Guess who might get to go home from the hospital on August 15th?

ME!!!  I'm so excited!

I told you before about my family moving by September 4th.  with the possible release date being sooner than that Mommy and Daddy are working really hard to find a good place for us to live.  So that needs a lot of prayer.  Please pray for a place to live, people to come help pack, and people to help us move.

Last but not least, the PayPay account has been set up for those of you who want to donate to that.  The link will be up on he resources tab here shortly.

Thank you for loving me and my family!  We are blessed indeed.

Love,

Noah

How to help Noah eat his food

Hi Everyone,

First some thank you's.....
If you're reading this, thank you.
If you're praying for me and my family, thank you.
If you're wanting to help, thank you.
If you're asking....How can I help?...thank you.
And to anyone I've missed....THANK YOU!

I know everyone is very concerned about me not eating enough.  I'm trying to be a good patient for my doctors and nurses.  I want my mommy and daddy to know that I'm having enough to eat.  Right now though I don't have much of an appetite and many things taste yucky.  So, as you sign up to bring food I thought this might help you with picking food out.  I don't mean to be picky and I'm most grateful for everything everyone is doing, I'm just trying to make it easier for people to decide what to do.

So here's a handy dandy website from LiveStrong.com.

I don't want to give you all too much reading but this is another site that might be helpful too.

Update on Mr. Noah

Last night was a little rough because Noah was given all 3 chemotherapy medications. He also had another blood transfusion yesterday because his counts were low.

Since Tuesday he has been getting chemotherapy treatments every night until he completes his "induction" stage of the treatment which will be a total of 10 days.  This is rough not just because it's chemotherapy but also because they administer it to him at night thus making sleeping at night an adventure.

We are challenged to get him to eat because things that taste good don't taste anymore or don't agree with his stomach. We've increased his antinausea medication in hopes that this could help.

Thank you all for all of your prayers, please continue because we have so much further to go in this treatment/fight.

Thank you,

Ryan, Carrie, Noah and Matthew

Mr. Mark Schultz

Hi All,

Tonight is going to be a rough night for my parents.  Mommy and Daddy really need me to eat but with this chemo I'm just not hungry.  Tonight I was given three, yes three, chemo treatments.  I'm sure with all of that Mommy and Daddy aren't going to get much rest so when you are praying for me please pray for them as well.

So, about the title of this entry.  Have  you ever had the feeling of "Wow, that person really knows what I'm going through" or "That song is just for me" and you wonder how it could be when you've never met the person you are talking to or who is singing the song?  It's a God thing....a divine appointment.  I think this song is my families divine appointment.

Thank you again for loving me and my family.

Noah

Many Hands Make Light Work: How You Can Help

There are many people who love me and my family.  They keep asking things like "What can I do?" and "What do you need?".  Well me, I just want to go home but I'm told I have to stay here until all the bad stuff in my body decides to behave.
First would be food for all the people that come to visit me so I'm not by myself.  A nice friend of my mommy has set up and offered to manage a food calendar.  I can have toys but nothing with any latex while I'm on chemo.  Also, I can't have any plants or flowers in my room.  If you would like to help with food please follow the link below.

There is an email set up with my name for contacting my mom and dad if you would rather do that.  The email address is noahmrmans@gmail.com.  A friend of my mom is managing my page & email here to keep you all up to date but my mommy and daddy will be reading  and responding too.  Feel free to send me fan mail!
Next I do want to let you know that there are many ways you can help me and my family.  We have to move September 4th so we could use lots of muscles for the move.  Before we can move though we have to find a home that is just right.  Mommy and Daddy want a place that is close to me.  So if you can spare a few prayers for my parents to find a good home that would be good too.
Lastly, some people have already sent checks....and it's not even Christmas!  If you want to also donate the account will be up and able to be linked here in the next few days.
Thank you for loving me and my family!
Noah
