Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everybody!

I hope you all had a fun weekend! Thank you for all your prayers for me yesterday.  Today has been a lot better for me. No more fevers and no more broken Broviac Lines! WHOOPIE!

Today we had more visits with family and fun today when Grammy and Popa brought down little pumpkins full of fun stuff for Matthew and I to play with. We made off like a pair of bandits!

Then Stacie came by and she gave me this...

Then I got dressed up like Groucho Marx and showed off my mad Harmonica skills!
Then I decided it was easier to play that Harmonica dressed like Noah instead of Groucho.
I hope you all have a fun filled Halloween tomorrow! My family have a few songs that we would like to share with you all so here they are. This first video though doesn't have music but it explains the song for the next video. We sure hope that you'll watch them both.

And this is Daddy's song....
Thanks to those of you who signed up to bring food to my Mamas and Daddy!  Their tummies sure appreciate the food. Thanks for continuing to love me and my family.

Love,

Noah

Crazy Days

Hi Everyone,

It was soooo nice to be home for a few days!  I love to be home, run around, pet the kitties and play with my toys.  But I've learned that all that fun comes to an end after a few days and then it's BLAMO, right back to the Pokie I go.  You know, I'm not a big fan of the Pokie so when we got there this time to run some tests before I started round four of my Chemo I did this....
I figured if I pushed myself way down tight into the stroller I just might get out of being poked and prodded.  I think the nurses & doctors here have me confused with a pin cushion.  Since the stroller idea didn't work I tried this too...
I have STRONG LEGS!  Just not quite strong enough to hold onto that bed and get out of all the clinic tests.
Everyone tries to entertain me and it helps.

And sometimes I entertain them.  On Thursday night Grammy and Popa came by to drop off Matthew.  Grammy was changing Matthew's diaper when she asked me if I had any pee-pee in my diaper.  Do you know what I said?  I pointed to my diaper and told her 'No Gammy, no pee-pee, justa penis.  Gammy didn't say anything but my friend Stacie started laughing.

We got some good news on Friday.  Can you guess what it was?  Here are some clues.
That's our new house!  Mommy and Daddy get the keys on Tuesday!!!
And the doggie....HE'S MINE!!!  His name is George.  Say "hi" to George everyone!
That's the good news that I have.  Today has been rough though and I've had a fever most of the day.  It spiked way up to 103.9 at around 10 pm tonight.  I also tore my Broviac Main Line so they are not allowed to use it for 4-6 hours.  So instead of the BML I have a yucky IV.  And it looks like this...
I have the bestest Da Dah's in the whole wide world though!  He slept with me most of the day.
And I was given a little Round and Round to help cool me down.  I wonder if it's a High Efficiency Round and Round?
That's all I have for now.  With the new house we are going to be moving very soon. We are going to try and get moved out of the apartment and into the house this month.  I know all of you do sooo much but we're going to need some help here.  We need help with meals still (It's okay if you can't bring it, there's plenty of people willing to pick it up and deliver for you).  We also need help with packing and moving.  If you can help at all please send an email to noahmrmans@gmail.com and we'll contact you very soon.

Thank you for all your love and support!

Love,

Noah

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jigg

Hi Everybody!

I am so excited to tell you what happened yesterday!!!  I'm still doing great with my ACN but it's not up to 500 yet.  Even though I was at 390 the doctors gave me this funny little mask and then said that I could go home again!  Whoopie!  We still had a few things to do before I left so...
I learned more about being a nurse.
And Matthew and I watched Sesame Street together in my hospital bed...
And we had a Bald Men Photo Shoot.
And I just had to clean the floor.
I was super fast and before you know it...I was in front of instead of behind those big glass doors.
And just like that...we rode the elevator down to the first floor and walked right on out of the Pokie!
This time when I got in my car seat I totally knew where I was going.
Guess what I found when I got home?  Only the coolest Round and Round so far!!!
Mommy and Daddy say that it's good for me to get exercise.  So I climbed all the stairs up to my house and I found another Round and Round.
But this is my favorite Round and Round...
So that's what we have right now.  For the next few days I have to stay inside my house while my ACN climbs to get above 500.  But once it does I'll be able to play outside.

My next round of Chemo starts on the 27th.  We don't know how many days I'll be receiving Chemo and probably won't know until I go back on Thursday.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  Thanks for your love and support.

Love,

Noah

Cancer Coaster Climb

Morning Everyone!

So, you want to hear a funny?  You know how I'm always talking about my ACN's and playing with the Goose Egg?  Well this time around my ACN went all the way up to 4300 but man, it sure took it a long time to drop down to "0".  It finally did but the Goose Egg hasn't stuck around very long this time.  Today I'm already up to 240!  The doctor said that I just might get to go home tomorrow.  WHOOPIE!!!  I don't know how long I'll be able to stay home this time before we start the next round of Chemo but I'll let you know when I find out.

We were all really needing some good news after Matt passing away so this is very much needed.  Please say a couple of prayers that I get to leave the Pokie tomorrow.
As always, thanks for help, love and support!  We couldn't do this without you.

Love,
Noah

Saying Goodbye

Hi Everyone,

Welp...God decided to stop the Cancer Coaster today and let my friend Matt off.  I know he's dancing in a cancer free body now in heaven but down here....well down here we are really, really sad.

Please pray for Matt's family and mine too.  I miss my friend.  Mamas said "sometimes it's still hard to take comfort in knowing that he's in Jesus' arms now."  We all know that it is true but you still ask why.

Please Pray For My Friend...

Hi Everyone,

Remember when I talked about the Cancer Coaster (aka the Roller Coaster)?  Well that thing is all over the place here in my ward.

My friend Matt; he's in the room across the hall from me and has been fighting Leukemia for over 5 years, got a ticket for the Cancer Coaster the other night.  I know I'm only 2 1/2 but cancer is scary and I didn't want him to be alone so I got my ticket last night too.

My turn on the Cancer Coaster brought my ACN down to zero (which is what it has to do before it can climb) but it also gave me a fever.  Fever's are never a good thing but it's not as bad as it was when I had the 104.9 fever.

My friend Matt though, he hasn't been so lucky and his Cancer Coaster ride took this really big scary drop down.  Mommy and Daddy are saying his body is shutting down.  I don't want to say good-bye to my friend.  Mamas and Da dah's don't either.

I know I tell you what our needs are or ask you to pray.  Tonight though please pray for Matt.  My family sure would appreciate it.

This is a song for Matt and his family...

Love,

Noah

Round Three Wrap-up

Hi Everyone,

So, round three of Chemo is over and I've been told I was a rockstar through the whole thing.  On September 29th I had some tests run and it was determined that I have No Detectable Cancer Cells!!!  Can you believe it?  Right now I'm told if all continues to go well I'll have two more rounds of Chemo.  We hope to be done with Chemo just in time for my third birthday!  Talk about a great birthday gift.  I still really want a doggie for my birthday though.

My ACN has four digits to it still.  Right now we need my ACN to bottom out to zero.  Bottoming out is how everyone knows the Chemo is doing its job.  Funny, when I have a Goose Egg on my ACN it isn't the time for it and when I have big fat ACN's we need the Goose Egg.  I think we should start calling it ACN Hide-N-Seek.  Wanna play?

I've had lots and lots of energy this whole round.  Mommy and Daddy are really glad when I finally crash for naptime.  I've had so much energy that I've even pulled on my leash too hard and made it split.  My leash is what attaches to those dangly things that hang from my tummy.  The danglies are my ports.  When I made this one split I had to have a test to see if I had any bacteria climb inside.  And you know what?  They did!  I thought I had new friends but the doctor said I had to have medicine to take them away.  That's okay though, I have all of you!  So yep, I'm a rockstar!

If you're going to be a rockstar you need to practice your drumming skills.  So I did...
While I've been in the Pokie this round I've leaned about spelling my name and colors.

I love fish....I like to terrorize the fishies with my friend, T-Rex.

When you come to visit and bring food to my family (by the way we need LOTS of help with the food) I'll greet you with a great, big......ROAR!!!
But after that roar we can share food.

Then we can play doctor.  Matthew likes to play with me.

But if you don't want to play doctor that's okay.  We can play with any of this stuff....

The one thing we all know is that...
My futures so bright I've gotta wear shades!

Mamas and Da Dah's want to listen to a couple of songs and if you know the words sing along too.
 and

Thank you all for taking an interest in my family and this journey we are on.  Thank you for loving us and all of your support.  Our current huge need is food deliveries so please take a look at the Take Them A Meal calendar and if you can please sign up.

Love,

Noah
