We got my test results back again today...with a big ol' fat NEGATIVE and it was the same yesterday. So with that (well as long as my Goose Egg disappears) I'm screaming "SO LONG POKIE" on December 22nd. WHOOPIE!!!
Please keep praying that the Goose Egg (that's my ANC count) will go away and climb just how we want it to.

Pumpkin...great news. Now to get your ANC numbers to cooperate and start going up. Christmas will be whenever you come home, just as long it is home for good. You leaving the pokie and not having to return will be the best Christmas gift we could ask for.

I was almost breathless when I heard the news this morning. Both that you had the negative blood cultures but also that you managed to go over 24 hours without any antinausea medication too. I know that the 22nd cannot come fast enough. You will not be completely done with the "pokie" on that day because you still have another bone marrow biopsy and aspiration as well as a spinal tap to do but you've earned a much needed break! Love you so much Mr. Mans!
