Update.....

Hi Everyone,

The latest is this.....

This morning was the talk of a 10 day minimum hospital stay, ICU, and concern over brain damage caused by such a severe fever.

Now we are at 100.7 and throwing up.  Yep....100.7!  We can't say if it was the nurse who misspoke Noah's temp, ears that heard incorrectly (but we don't think that was the case) or a God thing all together so we'll let you decide.

Even though Noah's fever is low we still need prayer for that and we really need prayer for the throwing up.  He also has an infection but we do not know exactly what that is right now.  Infections though are not good when your body doesn't have all the resources it needs to fight it off.

Thank you to everyone who has shared this blog and emailed wanting to know how to help.  For those who have asked about meals, yes, they could absolutely still use meals!  I'll email you all back individually here shortly.

Thanks again,

Stacie

Pumpkin...know that God still have you in his merciful arms. Rest comfortably as he brings you through this recovery stage. It seems the mild fever (100 to 102) occurs around about your 2nd week after chemo, the only thing this time you've acquired an infection, which you are on antibiotics to fight that situation.

Continue to keep that fighting spirit, you are almost done...and Christmas is near. It would be wonderful to have you home for Christmas, but we will be happy for whenever you are released from the hospital...for good.

Grammy and Popa are sending up a special prayer for you tonight. Sending hugs and kisses your way...reach out and grab them...share with Matthew.

Love you always...Grammy and Popa
