Limbo

Hi Everyone,

So I finished the fourth round of Chemo and I'm just waiting for my ACN to climb high enough and to have two days of no fevers.  As soon as both of those happen I get to go home.

To my house!  Mommy and Daddy are working really hard to have it all ready for when I come home.  I'm excited though to go to my house and I'm really excited because get to see George!  I watch videos of George and he makes me laugh and laugh.  He's a silly puppy.

Right now I've been having fun playing with balloons....
And I've been showing off my mad dancing skills!
And I love to run up and down the hallway.  I might take out a nurse, an IV stand or another patient if I'm not told to slow down!
It's hard to believe that this is my last long round of Chemo and staying in the hospital for a month at a time.  My next round of Chemo has to be done by giving me these big shots in both of my legs.  I'm not looking forward to that at all.  They aren't telling me much about it but I'm pretty sure I'd much rather have my nightly dose of Chemo instead of the nasty shots.  The upside is that I won't have to stay in the Pokie for as long...and the really big upside?  I might be home for Christmas!  Whoopie!!!

***This next video here is of RG getting her Chemo shots.  RG is a friend of my Mommy and Daddy and they have quite a story to tell.  This video is not for the faint of heart but if you want to learn more about my Chemo leg shots then please watch the video.  If you want to know more about RG and her family please email here or post on Mommy's Facebook wall and RG's mom will see it.***

Well, that's all I have for now.  I hope my next post is me leaving the Pokie again.

Love,

Noah

Hi Pumpkin,
It's hard to believe I've almost let a full week go by without getting my hug from you and Matthew. I do miss see you guys. From the videos it appears you have had a pretty busy and entertaining week.

Glad to hear your numbers are on the way up. This Thanksgiving we have so many things to truly be thankful for. Sorry to hear about your most recent roommate, but I'm sure God is watching over him and he will be fine. Keeping positive thoughts and prayers going his way.

Well it sounds like Round 5 is going to be the most interesting chemo round of all. Continue to be brave and know that you are almost done. I truly wish there was a better way to go through Round 5 without having to have those shots, if only I could take them for you.

Well my love, it is late and we both need our sleep. Please give Matthew a hug and kiss for Popa and I and know we are sending hugs and kisses your way, as always reach out and catch them.

Love you today, tomorrow and always...Grammy and Popa

Hello my love!

I know far too well how hard it is to be going through this. I may not know exactly how you feel but do know how I feel when we're in the hospital together.

You are such an amazing young man and I can't help but love you more and more each day. I know that the past 2 weeks have been rough and that your bone marrow and ANC will not listen to any of us so we will have to keep giving it to God to handle and just trust in Him that it will happen.

My heart weighs so heavy for you and knowing how much your life has changed because of this leukemia but I also know that God will receive the glory for the whole journey and the outcome!

Hold fast to Him because He is who is keeping Mamas and Da Dahs strength together. He all things and above everything that can, and will try to, weigh you down in this world.

Love you and are so proud of you Nug, Mr. Mans, Noas!
